Keeping, Training & Riding the Natural Way
Herdleader is a collection of Jo’s thoughts and experiences in keeping, training and riding horse over nearly three decades. Inspired by Soldier, one particularly tricky horse, Jo details the exploration of numerous alternative training methods.
Jo continues to learn many things from Soldier and has been able to use these experiences to help others with their equine behavioural problems using natural horsemanship methods.
She has taken on another challenge in the form of Florin, who is four this spring and was started using natural horsemanship methods. Jo is charting Florin’sprogress as his education progresses through his blog.
Testimonials
“Training horses is a game. The trick is not to let the horse play the game under his rules but for the rider/trainer to tailor the rules to suit the situation. Jo’s exploration and experience of training techniques will enable you to achieve this.” K.Evans
